Anyone run across a windshield pouch/bag that isnt a freakin hundred bucks? The dealer offers a couple but they run from $90-$125 or more. I dont want a janky piece of crap but affordable with decent quality.
look used- I think I paid $45 from a ad on the classifieds here.
i use the tbag, which I like alot, it is contoured to fit the dash, but you need to pad the top of the dash to prevent scuffing. velcro loop works.
my pal uses the HD the 3 pockets are a better ( more useful) shape but the thing sits up there like a turd and scratches the heck out of his windshield.
so, craigslist ( I saw a HD last week in PHX) or the classifieds here might help you out.
Just yesterday I got a River Road Multi-Pocket Windshield Bag from my Indy for $50.00 bucks. I think it looks good, is functional and so far it does not touch the windshield. It came with some small rubber protectors to attach to the bags but I didn't need to put them on. I had one of the single bags but it kept hitting my duckbill or windscreen (or whatever you call that thing on the RK Custom) making a racket. So far, and I know it is too soon to make an accurate judgment, I like it.
I use the T-bags 3 pouch contoured bag. Like it a lot. I like how it fits behind a 4" sheild. Pics on my 09' Ultra. If I remember correctly around $60.00.
PS found link $70.00 from them direct, but can be found cheaper on E-bay
