Default Battery Tender Connector?

My friend and I both bought 2010 Ultra Classics on the same day. Only two were left at the dealership. Mine came off the showroom floor, his came out of a crate. His has a pre-installed battery tender hookup, with the connector hanging down along the right side near the footboard. Mine has no connector at all. Has anyone else's Ultra came with one installed, or not? I will be going to the dealership asap and asking what is up. Just need to know if I am the only one or if for some reason his came pre-wired. Thanks!

The pigtails are available on eBay for a few bucks if you can't get one from the dealer (or at a good price if they say you have to buy it).

Technically both your bikes came out of crates. However, the pigtails are installed at the dealership by the dealer during the PDI. The pigtail is about $7 from HD. If you don't have a tender yet, the tenders now come with the pigtail as well so just buy the tender and it will have the pigtail included.

Purchased my 2010 UC this past September (still in crate) and it came with the pigtale installed. I agree...call the dealer.

You can get the Battery Tender from Wally World or Batteries Plus. It comes with the pigtail.

Not a big deal, if you buy a battery tender, it will come with a pigtail.

I have noticed they sell the pigtails at the dealers for between $7 and $8. There is a big jar of them at the parts desk at my local dealer. Probably the same story at most HD Dealers.

The one that the Dealer's install has a larger plug on it, but will still work with any Battery Tender. I have a couple extra cables that hooks to the battery with a fused Hot leg because mine and my wife's bike came from the dealer with plugs installed. Different Dealer's must install in different location's. Mine was run down from the battery with the plug hanging close to the oil dip stick.
