Default I was looking at the install pics of this today at the dealer

The switch is shown as being just inside the heat shield. I was really tempted but it's almost $500 for the unit. I'll just keep my eyes open for a used one but in the mean time will stick with the standard backrest.

I had one of the adjustable ones on my '06 UC, When I bought the 2011 limited I put the non-adjustable one on, i couldn't remember ever really needing to adjust the back rest once it was put into place.

I'm on day two of the install. Got the backrest bracket mounted on the fender yesterday. Lost one of the 1/4 inch nuts somewhere in the bike...still haven't found it. Picked up a replacement at the local auto parts store and got the backrest bracket mounted. Started getting late so I held off until today to attach the Actuator handle. One screw how bad could it be....I've tried several times to get that one screw to start. I've even went back to the auto parts store and got another screw a quarter inch longer thinking this would help. When someone stated that that screw is a B***h to install...that's an understatement. Everything has to align just right (including all the planets) and with my fat hands I think I keep bumping the heat shield out of alignment. I know it can be done. Thanks you everyones help!

Can you believe it...within 15 minutes of my last post I got the screw in. Used a 8 inch socket extention (without the wrench) and was able to get enough pressure on the screw to get it started. Within another 10 minutes I was finished and setting on the bike adjusting the backrest.
Thanks again everyone for the tips and a special thanks to Vistavette for the great pictures...they helped alot.
