Default Need exhaust help!

I am trying to decide which true dual system to buy for my 07 SG. I have to say I like the look of Bountyhunters T'rex, I know the bub's are good, and then there are so many more to choose from. My only real criteria.....I don't want loud...louder than stock...but not deafning loud, can't stand some of the open pipes guy's run around here. I want to be able to listen to my stereo, and don't want the wife to go deaf.
I've been thinking about the V&H dresser dual's and then running the stock muff's...anyone try that? or SE muffs? Would be the cheapest way to go duals for me. I can get a good deal on the BUB's so that is an option, but I've heard they get really loud once you go to a 103' or bigger motor.

Please help
Thanks

I really like my Bassani full system. Not overly loud unles you really dig into it, like any pipe does. But there is a distinctive dark grumble when I fire that girl up. Plus it has the cool looking power curve on the right side.

Eighty miles an hour, I can hear the radio just fine. Performance wise it is a great setup as well.

Trex TRUE DUALS, I get more compliments when riding with my buddies by outsiders then any other person. Everyone notices the seamless "NO CLAMPS" and the throaty sound...... Is there another exhaust choice?

You could try the V&H dresser duals and stock mufflers , that would give you a step to see if you want more.
The sound will change to a more stacatto sound (not so mixed up).
That may make you happy enough , or you could add the mufflers of your choice later.
Hang around with other riders and ask them how they like theirs.
Sound is very subjective,I like somewhat quiet pipes, some like them abusively loud.
To each his own....

I just put some vance and hines (true duals) headers with SE mufflers on. The mufflers where slightly louder than stock. Not the sound I'm after. I switched them with harley slip on mufflers and they sound a little better, but they have a kind of squeak at idle and off throttle - can't stand that. Seems to vary - when I think it is going away it comes back.

My dealer can't get reinharts (says they are back ordered) so not sure what I'm going to do.
