Was checking out a friends bike today, it is an 04, and I noticed that all the chrome bolts on his bike were well still chrome inside, I had to ask what he did.
He said he takes a q-tip, puts a dab of anti seize on it, and smears it in the bolt heads.
He does it every spring.
Thought it was a good idea, so I am going to do it now.

Remove the rust with a q-tip w/ Naval Jelly and when they're all rust free, get a bottle of clear nail polish and put a dab in each bolt head. They won't rust anymore.
