Default Kit Break Down Needed for 120R

Anybody out there have the kit breakdown for the 120R kits.

24601-10A
30086-10A

I am trying to see if there are any of the little parts that are not coming with this kit. With 3 feet of snow on the ground and temps well under 0 I am in need of something to do and a motor build sure sounds like a winner..

hey 18bklr you should know by now that's why they invented johnny walker and jack daniels. when it's like that me and the jug just like to sit back and relax. that 120 seems like it's going to be a very popular motor considering what it'd cost to build even a very strong 103 motor, with the 120r as an option, a person could sell their original motor and cover a lot of the cost of the new 120. stay warm up there.

I'm still throwing it all around. I have a kick *** 103 build that runs great. Dawg sent me the parts break down and I really thought a guy would get more stuff. If you bought the botton case and the kit you will still need a lot of little things to get it complete. Lifter blocks, pushrod tubes, all that stuff. Always an option, is it needed? Not one bit but it would be fun to build one.

They use your stock cases and you have to have them machined. Or you can buy a set with the 120R kit for 600 plus. They also steal quit a few other things off the stock motor, you will end up with your old engine in a box labeled useless parts. With the kit your going to get another SEPST that you already have probably. I got the crate motor and still have the whole 96'' to sell or slap in the bike if i blow up the 120R or sell the bike. Even with the crate motor you need a clutch, exhaust, compression release harness,Heavy breather intake as it is one of the few that fits the 58mm throttle body. I would probably buy the crate engine and tear it down and do what you want or just slap it in. I got the crate engine and all needed install parts for 5,312.00 But i bought a D&D Boarzilla and i had the SEPST They quoted me at the dealership just under 8k for the kit and install. No thanks. The price of the kit and some machine work you have to get done is still going to be more than the crate with you doing the assembly.

I agree. I was thinking the kit with the new cases but now that I see how many parts I have ro rob off my old motor I am thinking the crate motor. I want a spare motor sitting there that is ready to go. Where did you get the motor, throttle body, clutch, injectors, and heavy breather for 5300. That is a pretty good deal if they hand out giftcards for every 250 spent on top of triple points on the HD Signature card. Hmmmm

Default 120r crate

That is 20 percent off engine and all the other needed parts there are quite a few dealers that will do it .
