Road tech GPS charging help

I have the 660 and on the back of the car mount there are two ports. One is for the cigarette charger and I thought the second was for the a/c charger. When I plug it in the screen says the device is not supported. What is that port for and is the only way to charge the unit my house through the port under the battery cover? Both of those ports are identical to the USB cable and the a/c charger cable.

It could be for an external antenna. Do you have the papers that came with the mount? If so, they should show the use for the port.

I thought the second port is for a audio out cable to plug into you car's stereo ( if you have the plug) so you could listen to mp3s or audio books you may have install in the GPS. Kind of like how you have to plug it into aux in on the front of the bikes radio.
