Default Passing light rewire

Dont know if anybody has done this here but I was sick of not being able to run my passing lights with the high beam. There is a very simple solution to this. Since I had my nacelle all apart (you should still be able to do it by just removing the headlight) doing my forks and installing apes I cut the yellow wire coming from the passing light switch (power from high beam) and spliced it in with the hot wire on the auxilary switch. Now you can have the passing lights on with both high or low beams or completely off.

Yes, great idea! There were threads on this last fall (2009) and I did it as a mod last Winter. Good reminder/hint to all the newbies.

Hey Slyder thats great mate. I wired mine up also to work with both high/low beams as well, but when I first attempted it (similar to yours) I was getting a feedback to high beam when on low beam, visa versa. I ended up sticking 2 diodes in the CCT to fix it. I dont have my factory wiring diagram in front of me at the moment to verify it, but if yours works fine then slap me. Feedback was when the aux switch was left on from memory.
