My 06 Standard is also Powder coated silver. You can tell because the fins are not coated. Just like on a black engine.

I used an agresive solvent behind the rear cyl to prep for some epoxy and holy crap the paint wrinkled up and sure enough its a painted serface. I thought it was raw too. But that bieng said I dont know the paint code but it is definatlly painted on mine.

My 06 is also a Painted or powder coated finish. This is the color I'm trying to match. I going for the mono tone look vs. powder coating everything black.

The fin edges are run over a buffer wheel.
Naturally, it would be a different color.

Maybe the cases are coated, I know the cylinders aren't, sorry can't help anymore.

I think the silver motor parts on my FLHTI are powdercoaded as is the White Lightning. Go with the powdercompany you found that matches the factory silver. My White Lightning has silver cylinders and had raw aluminium rocker boxes I replaced with Chrome units. The silver cylinders and raw aluminium rocker boxes did not look similar.

That should read "chroming of the valve and side covers" the engine is coated.

You may have better luck with finding the color code from an 06 CVO silver engine. That Warlock Grey looks too dark, more like the 2011 CVO color on the engine.
