Trying to match silver engine powdercoat.
Anyone know what harley uses for silver engine coating? Any luck matching it? Im looking for 07 silver engine parts, anybody upgraded to chrome and want to sell old?

harley has touch up and spray paint called silverbead blast, normally its not in stock so youwill most likely have to order it like I did. The dealer said I was the first person to order the touch up paint in that color.

Oh they're powdercoated alright. I'm in the process of trying to color- match silver engine parts myself . I got totally stonewalled trying to buy genuine HD powder from my dealer, it's as bad as trying to buy paint in pints/quarts for late models from them. It's not happening .
I did buy some powder from eastwood called " blasted aluminum" that looks real good on their color chip chart. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but so far it's my best prospect. I'll surely post my results when I try it.

what parts are you looking for i have my inner primary and outer off my o7super glide .harley just put foward controls on my bike and put chrome on in stead.it came off with like 200 miles on it.
