Two-up... Sundowner w/SG Stitch. Don't run the TP solo.
Huh?? You can for sure run your TP solo! I have, as have MANY on this forum has! I have both 2-up and solo seats from C&C Seats. www.ccseats.com Give them a call & talk to Chuck, he won't steer you wrong or sell you something you can't use! If you decide to buy from them, be sure to ask for the "HD Forum" discount!
What is cool about the 2008-2011 touring bikes is the seats are all interchangable. So you can run a Street Glide seat which a lot of guys like. My personal favorite is the 2008 Road Glide seat, probably the best stock seat Harley ever made and better yet you can pick up these seats for around $50-100 off Ebay. If you are wanting to go with a sleeker stock seat I would recommend using one off a 2008 or a 2011. The 2009 and 2010 seats have raised seat pans and are extremely wide. Just my .02

You misunderstood me. I was't saying "not to ride a TP solo". What I was saying is.... "I" dont ride a TP solo. Of course I know many people do. I only ride the TP when Momma is on board. Otherwise... The TP is off and I ride the stock seat.
I purchased a stock "take-off" street glide seat off from E-bay, $100 including shipping, but still waiting on my removable tour pack kit from Zanotti's, supposed to be here tomorrow.

Hi klaybus,
I have a standard FLHT with the four points detachable system. I added a King Tour Pack, an additional 2009 FLHTC seat, sissy bar and luggage rack for the standard seat. It takes 10 minutes to swap the seats and accessories mainly because my seat straps that are different. They are compulsory over here
