Da Butcher, I changed the route mainly for aesthetic reasons and the old route I had the hoses to close for comfort to the header pipe and did not like the big loop in the hoses. I would not be concerned about 90 degree fittings, oil will flow though the cooler/hoses/fittings only after the thermostat opens @ around 180 degrees, oil at that temp will flow NP, even cold I'd be willing to bet flow would be fine, just be careful of the header pipe. BTW, your bike rocks! The more I see black-out bikes the more I want one.

Painted Inner faring, what a fiasco. Ordered Dec 15, was shipped a seat instead of the faring Jan 17. The right part should be here today.

I like the anodized fittings. If I was going to braid on all my lines I'd do it that way too.

Pretty good changes being made here. Ready to see the final episode.
We can tell it will look great when it all comes together.

Ah, you did try different ways. Cool. I like the way yours looks the best. I'm not willing to remove hoses for each oil change though. I began to wonder if that need was dictated by the filter removal method (tool) or if it was a matter of no-way-around-it and the hoses must come off. Hard to tell, but it looks like a filter-socket would still work. You know, the one that fits on the end of the filter. Do you know if that will work or not? Tried it? Just curious.

BTW, thanks for the kind words on my bike!
