No, I don't, though I admit I have thought about getting some, especially when I wear pants that have a wider leg opening. Never worn chaps either, but I'm not saying I wouldn't. If you want to, then go for it...who cares what anyone else does?
I don't and never have worn boot straps, but then I'm an old guy.
Frankly I've never even seen them on anyone either.
Oh, I buy my riding Levis 2-4 inches longer, that helps.

Wear em if I'm going on a long ride on the slab. Around town, nah. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, can't look any worse than pants blown up to yer knee!
I WEAR LEATHER TROUSERS AND THEY BE LONG AND STAY ALL THE WAY DOWN. YES, YOU SEE FOLKS WITH THEIR BRICHIELEGS BLOWN UP TO THEIR KNEESE.(sp). TO EACH THEIR OWN. THE BOOT STRAPS WILL COST 20.$ +. WHY NOT ADD ABOUT 50$ TO THAT AND LOOK AROUND FLEA MARKETS, BIKER SIDEWALK SALES, AND SUCH FOR LEATHER TROUSERS THAT WILL STAY ALL THE WAY DOWN + OFFER A HELL OF A LOT MORE PROTECTION THAN THE STRAPS. UNLESS YOU SAW THAT POSTING WHERE SOMEONE SAID LEATHER TROUSERS WERE GAY. I DON'T THINK LEATHER GETS TOO HOT IN WARMER WEATHER IF YOU STAY ON THE BIKE. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU RESIDE. RIDE SAFE.....
ps: ok, I'll try to answer the question in my opinion, "what are boot straps?" A leather strap or chain with a decorative clip on each end that snaps to the brichieleg cuff and goes under the boot, or flip flops for you yankees, to the other cuff. They are adjustable for you that are short legged and looks like they should keep your jeans down. I've never used them because I only ride da "BLACK BEAUTY" when going out for several hours and then wearing full leather at all time. My favorite rides be THE DRAGON & THE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY.

What is it makes me think this is a trick question?... But ok i'm going to play...NO i don't wear them because i have my O'lady sew chain into the bottom of my pant legs to keep them doun...works great..tough on the washing machine though........
I've been riding wearing Levi 501s since Christ was a corporal and Wrangler 13mwz since Levi went foreign and have never had a problem with my pants legs blowing up. 'Course I also wear boots. Just sayin'.
I thought boot straps were those things on engineer boots.

I wear boots always as well. Perhaps it's because my levi's aren't 501s....
