My birthday was 12/28 and my parents got me a $100 gift card to the dealer we go to. I thought it'd be easy to spend but so far it's been a challenge. I'm just not sure what I want to spend it on. With my tax return I figure I'm getting motor work done so I'm not gonna apply it to that.
Some things I've considered:
-Bars
-Tombstone Tail light
But in order to do the tombstone tail light I know I'll wanna switch the fronts outs to bullets along with the back ones.
But with the bars there are so many choices and I feel like I'll get a better deal from on line and I don't wanna just spend the money on cables.
Any idea's or suggestions? Now $100 isn't the limit, I figure I'll spend up to $200 of my money as well.
I was gonna add a picture but I don't have a good one. It's an 05 Road King Black Cherry/Pearl Black. Right now I have nostalgic saddlebag rails with fringe but have been thinking going a different direction anyway so this could be a good start.
Your going about it wrong.
You shouldn't go into a dealer (or any place for that matter), and try to find something for a set amount of money you have.
Better idea is to figure out what you want most. What would make you most happy?
Then, work on that goal. If it costs more than you can spend right now, hang on to your money and save for your end goal.
I'm just trying to figure out some ideas as to what I want so I can decide what I want most. I'm not limited to the $100 on the gift card I have, it's just a starting point.
Everybody has their own priorities, but it all comes down to three areas in order of expense: performance, comfort and style. I'd decide which of these is most important to YOU and then focus in that area. Trust me...you'll spend money on all three and it NEVER ends... Why do you think so many people hang out here??? lol
I won a $200 gift card at my dealer before Christmas.I'm trying to hold on to it until the new accessories come out in late Jan early Feb.But man you are right, that sucker is hot,its burning my pocket too.
