Default TBW question

I have an 09 RKC I am putting apes on, pulled out the TBW harness and there is a black wire that is thicker than the rest that just dead ends about 8 in out. I am just wondering what it is for and making sure it should dead end, hope I didn't pull something off that I wasn't supposed to. All of my wires are accounted for, drew up a diagram before I pulled it off. On a side note, I am putting 18 in apes on and I am going to have enough wire with the stock harness to make it work, has anyone else had this happen. It appears to be the stock wiring, it has the green plug midway on it. Any insight would be great, thanks!

I can't answer your question, but I'm going to keep an eye on your thread cause I'm about to swap out the bars on my RK.

I did 16' carlini gangster apes on my 08 with TBW also and came across the same thing. Put it all back together the way it was with that wire just hanging in the bars and all worked out fine. No problems as that wire wasn't attached to anything. Don't know the reason for that wire being there either.

Awesome, thanks guys. I mapped it all out and was sure it was some sort of accessory wire but I wanted to double check. Thanks again, I will rest easier when I put it back together tonight!
