Default Temporary Slip ons

I'm looking for some slip ons that will sound (a lot ) better than the stock mufflers on my 2011 FLHTK, but I will be installing a stage one kit once I get 1-2000 miles on her. I love the sound of the rineharts, but man, $600 for slip ons is just rediculous when I have already bought D&D Fatcats for the stage one upgrade (Heavy breather, SE Race Tuner, and D&D Pipes). Any suggestions on economical alternatives would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Doc

Bassani have a set of slip-on's in the Drag Fatbook for $300 and they have a good sound to them.

Wild Pigs are fairly inexpensive. They sound great on my buddies '09 Street Glide (although, it has no catalytic converter). That cat. is going to mess up the sound of any slip-on (my opinion).

How many days does it take you to put a "1-2000" miles miles on the bike and why add those miles before doing the upgrades you have already purchased? It's only a stage one.

If you keep an eye out you can find Rino's for $250-300 shipped to you. People do sell them, even on this site. You gotta just keep watching, here and on V-Twin. That was my 1st mod, was the stage 1, Rino's, PC-V and Ness A/C.
Your bike will run much better too. You don't need to wait to do the stage 1 either, it won't void your warranty..

what he said... As long as you don't install the a/c you don't need to do the tune.

yep, your 02 sensors and ecm will compensate for the fatcats.

Depending on what's going on, it could take me from a week, to a couple months to get those miles, my wife is disabled, and has some better days and worse days, so I never know. I want to break the motor in before they dyno tune the racing ignition.
