I only ordered mine yesterday but reviewed the installation instructions. Oil pan bolts seem accessible except for the innermost one on the left side. Is access done through the small hole inboard of the large hole in the dogbone? If so, how did you set up the torque wrench when re-tourquing? Maybe it is just easier to drill out that hole so that my 3/8" extension will slip through? Then, slip in the socket with the 3/16" allen?
Left and right stays: they are supposed slip on top of the dogbone, placing them in starting from the front of the dogbone moving rearward? Sure does not look like much clearance between the top of the dogbone and the bottom of the oil pan (instruction photo makes the stays look pretty fat).
I did not have any problems installing my Bagger Brace, pretty straight forward. Instead of increasing the size of any holes I would probably cut down the correct size allen wrench and slide it into a socket that fits the allen wrench; probably a 3/16". That way you would have an extended allen wrench and would not make any mods to the frame itself.
I cannot recall any problems installing the brace with removing the oil pan bolts. My biggest issue is I kept confusing the orientation and tried to convince myself it wouldn't slip into place...just a little wiggle and everything else was easy-breezy.
