So are you sayin its more trouble/cost than its worth? I was wantin to do this to my 05 EG. Stealer tells me its not possible, posters on here have told me its no problem. Glad to finally find someone who has ACTUALLY done it!
I believe you can only get the front to work with the parts listed. The rear is a different story. I wanted to put the agitator wheels on my 07 til I found out it would get pretty pricey to make the back work, new swingarm and all. I did end up going a different route and went to Hogpro to get some matching wheels.
Ok, how did you get those gauges to work on an '03??? I love my '03's but I wouldn't have taken apart an '03SE. But it is your bike and I'm with you on wanting to make something "different" on your own!!
That was quite a bit of work, actually. I had to replace the wiring harness, ecm, cruise control module, speed sensor and fuel sending unit. It turned out to be a huge cascading effect( change one thing, which affects something else, which changes something else, etc.) Learn by doing

Anything is possible with enough money and time- with that being said I would have gone a different way if I knew back then what I know now. What grabbed me initially besides the looks on the Agitators is the price- but what they don't tell you is you need the special rotors, and the 08 up Brembo calipers, and the axle, and the bearings, and you can not match the rear wheel on the older frame without major modification(which I plan on doing, just not until this winter) so now looking back I wish I had gone PM as it would have been easier to match the wheels, but I am happy with how it turned out.
