Default Butt Buffer or Air Hawk?

I am trying pick between the two a Butt Buffer or Air Hawk. See a lot of good things about both. Opinions welcome.
Thanks

I tried both and love the Air Hawk. The key is to run the least amount of air you can. It works great, reduce heat and no monkey butt.

I had a airhawk on a 2500 mile week long trip in 09 and it was great. (stock seat) Same trip last year with a HD Hammock seat and the airhawk out performed the Hammock.
Can't speak for the other one.

I've not tried the BB but after trying gel pads, beads, sheep skin I finally bought the Air Hawk last summer and I'm glad I did. Like said above, don't over inflate, really I just level out the pressure and it feels nice to my bony butt.
Best $130 I spent!

Oh, BTW, I would recommend the original Air Hawk over the cheaper Air Hawk II.

Can you tell me a little more about the Airhawk? The Website is a little vague. How does it attach, What's it look like on?

Anyone got pics?

Neither can be better than a Mean City Cycles seat mod.
Seems like the more I ride it the better it gets. Some of the
best money I ever spent.

The Airhawk has two straps that go under the seat that holds it in place. I never used mine that way i just lay it on the top of the seat, fear of being stolen. It worked great for me on a trip out west a few years ago, however i now have a Mean City Seat and its much better than stock, but i will still take my Airhawk for the long hauls.jd

I have an air hawk I'll sell you for $75 shipped. Used once for a short distance. Didn't work all that well for me and I took it off and just sat on the seat. PM me if you're interested.

Neither. I always thought they were too expensive. Plus my last long ride was Atlanta to Key West in August, hotter than blue blazes. Survived with no monkey butt so feel no need to spend the $$.
