Default Scratch remover

What product do you suggest I can get from my local Walmart to remove minor scratches from the fuel tank?

Keep in mind that most of the scratch remover products you see advertised, won't actually remove scratches.
They are formulated to "hide" the scratch. They do this by filling in the scratch with their "special formula", so that sunlight is reflected in such a way as to make the scratch invisible.

After a few washes, or some time has passed the scratch will become visible again.

In order to actually remove the scratch, your going to have to use some type of polishing or rubbing compound.

Dupont #7 is all I've ever used. Never had a problem with it.

Use Microfiber polishing clothes with you product. Works better than cotton.

I use Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 (from Walmart). Works good.... Use microfiber polishing clothes also.

I use nu finish (I think thats right I'm not looking at the bot. right now) and like he said microfiber towel. The towels are really great. I got that bit of info from here and I very pleased. Mad it took me so long to learn this. Good luck.
