Put mine on last week. Fit like a glove. The directions on mine did say put the outer screws in then push or pull or something. It was snug - but felt more secure than the stocker to me.

well here is the thing.. I can get the left and center studs on but the right won't make it. And just the opposite I can get the right and center but not the left. saw nothing in directions about screws and pushing or pulling or whatnot.. I have layed a cloth tape across both the stock HD shield and the LRS and it is almost 1/4 inch difference. like it needs the outside holes 1/8 further out each from center line. now i have again spoke with Jason at LRS and he explained about yes they are obviously cut flat then heat formed and some shrinking does occur on forming...

Default If you like the screen and the holes aren't off by too much

then just re drill the holes to fit. Pretty easy stuff to cut through.

Use a high speed drill. Do not start out drilling slow as to let the bit grab.
Don't ask me how I know this.

I think a Dremel tool would work better than a drill bit.Drill bits are not meant to be used for side cutting.

I've been running a LRS 10" windscreen for the past year or so.
Went on just like the oem. No problems. Channels the wind much better than stock. Great shield.

Before you start drilling...get a caliper and measure the THICKNESS of the shield. Factory specs are 0.124-0.125. Thicker shields cause mounting/fitment issues. If it IS thicker...this WILL cause a gaps between front/rear parts of the fairing and water will flow thru.

Personally I don't feel like I should have to drill on a part that is SUPPOSED to fit.
