My LRS was a very tight fit. I thought it was because I have an aftermarket fairing (Dragonfly). Took quite a bit of maneuvering and a few choice expletives but I finally got it to fit. Got the 2 outside bolts in, then pushed the center down and installed the middle bolt.

I've had to pull the top edge of the fairing to put on both a Cleaview and LRS. Both were snug and it took a little pressure to get to fit, but no major issue. More of a bind on the center bolt than the other two, so that's what I use to get it set then the outer ones.

I have 2 LRS for my scoot and they both fit just fine. I am pleased with both of them.

I have 2 Ultra Flips. They do fit snug. I flex the shield to line up the holes.

Personally I don't feel like I should have to drill on a part that is SUPPOSED to fit.
I agree. I could see some minor "relief" cutting, but an 1/8" on each side is more than tolerance build-up. Good luck with it, but it sounds like a tooling issue to me in manufacturing.
