Broken Heat Shield

One of the clips on my front heat shield broke off.
I am wondering what happens to all the heat shields that are removed when a new exhaust system gets installed? Must be a big box of them somewhere?

If you have one in your garage, give me a PM for a sale.
Mine's a 98 but probably up to 05 will fit.

I gave my old ones to Chad already man or they would be all yours... i am sure someone has them, any stock exhaust will work

I still have the stuff off my o3 fxdl, at least i think so. I will look later and let you know. One I know was scratched on the bottom tho. Can't see it on the bike

Still have everything brackets, pipes mufflers and shields. I think the front shield is the longest of the two (correct me if I am wrong) it is also the one that is dented and scraped. The bike had 22000 on it when I changed the exhaust so it ain't show quality but you are welcome to anything there. Wouldn't even get a bid on ebay so the will gather dust in the corner PM me if you want any of it and I will send them to you for the cost of postage.

Thanks guys.

I was wondering if one off a twin cam, or even a softail, will work? someone has a softail one in good shape.
May take mine and get it Mig-ed as the chrome is very good still.

Just one of those PITA items.
