Cee Bailey released recently a new Road Glide WS than I have my eye on. The Website says it is for the 2010/2011 RG. This is not the dome or SERG or Euro.
Q1) Shouldn't it also fit my 09 and earlier RGs??? Has anyone with an 09 tried one?
Q2) Has anyone regardless of year tried this new shield on their RG?
Yep, I got it on my 2010 FLTRX, love it! Had the retro dome before this one, but my apes hit it and broke it. The new shield fits awesome! I went with the 15" and it throws the air 3-4 inchs above my head (Iam 6'4) don't have time to post pictures, I'll try to this weekend

That is very encouraging to hear. The photos make the shield appear to be very effective at throwing the air over and around, yet still have some style too it. I just can't figure out why it states for 2010/2011 bikes. Why should that be the case?

I read that at the time of mfg, they had only tested them on those bikes, common sense says they will work on any, maybe it's the way the fairing is mounted on the new bikes

Looks like you are correct.
After some more digging I found this write up where the guy had the new shield mounted to an 05 RG.
Do you have some pics to share? I am hoping this is the answer I have been searching for...style and function. Hope to hear from others that have tried the new shield.
I have the SERG from Cee Bailey's and have had others of theirs. Joe in the design Dept. that works there will explain that there are a couple of different hole patterns and Road glide fairing molds with different shaping in the windshield area. This would be why they are saying fits 10 and 11s. Been round and round with their windshields, you will be better off with a Windvest shield after all is said and done. The only one of their shields that worked as good as a Windvest on the Road Glide custom was their tall shields that you almost have to look through. Buy a Windveast don't waste your cash on the Cee Bailey's.

So Hydro have you actually tried there new shield? Or just have a bad taste in your mouth from the SERG screen?
