That's why I went for the RK Classic instead of the Std.
Didn't care much for spokes and WWW's, but wanted the 103 and ABS.
As you can see in my SIG, the wheels didn't last long.
My 103 has over 30K on it not one problem still runs stong. I added a cometic 0.030 head gasket to my build to up the compression and it hasn't even had hot starting problems.
When I make decisions sometimes I question myself weather or not it was the right one. I have a 2011 SG with the 103 cruise and abs. Its still stock and I think its damn fast as it stands stock. This is one post I like to read proudly. Lets me know I made the right decision
good decision - YEAH... FAST -- i dont think so.. ride a modified HD with 90HP and 110TQ... then let me know....
Having a 103 kit put in my Roadie as we read
255 cams
breather, pistons, cylinders
hope I like it
Hey Herb, boredom just leads to spending more money. You're gonna love the 103 with the 255's. I'm going for the TW-555's this summer if Uncle Sam gives me a nice return.

I've been drooling on RKCs for awhile
I just gotta have the tunes on the Roadie
gotta get everything right to come up to the city
will shoot you an e-mail
I only have about 30K on my 07, and I don't really consider that to be a whole lot of miles. There's no reason to think the 103 or 96 for that matter will be any fussier than the 88 or 95 motors. The only thing I'd worry about is the crank, and the 07s were probably the worst of the recent bikes in that regard. I have no doubt that at some point, I'll be taking the motor apart and having the crank welded and trued. Of course, that will just be the perfect opportunity to bore the cases and build a serious motor, so it's not actually something I'm dreading .
2010 RG with a 103 from dealer. Went with 255's out of the box. Nice cam, good power. I live in MT so lots of long roads and wide open spaces. Pulls hard, easily pulls over 100 MPH, crusing speed is right in the sweet spot at around 80 - 85. 103 is solid engine, so I echo previous comments. Tried and True, lots of em out there. If you want more power, torque, speed, look into some cams. The sponsor of this section of the forum, Fuel Moto, can hook you up.
