Default Anyone Use the Knight Prowler Lifters from Wood Performance

I am planning on installing the SE255 cams and dont want to use the stock lifters wondering if any of you are using the Knight Prowler lifters will good results, no tapping, bleeding down, and good longevity.

Guess I should have asked what are the best lifters to use.

I don't have an answer for your question but I'm curious why you don't want to use the stock lifters. I plan on doing the cam swap soon and was planning on using the stock lifters.

Stock are just fine.
Wood's are just a bit better. Not really needed, but a quality part!

Fuel Moto is using the Knight Prowler directional lifters in there 107 kit.

I used the stock lifters and Woods TW5-6. Just a quiet as stock.

The quality of the OEM -99B lifter has suffered recently. It appears that these "new" 99B lifters are from a different source. The difference is obvious when comparing the cup from the older 99B to the newer. I have pictures but the files are too big to attach. If you can get the old style 99B, they are pretty good.

The Woods lifters are by far the best; a bit pricey buy high quality, very tight tolerances and they will eliminate much of the valve train noise that is associated with some performance cams.

Oh yeah, I do run them in my all bore 107".

Did you get new stock lifters or used the ones you already had, also wondering when you did your swap did you replace all the gaskets and o-rings for the cover, o-rings for cam plate, push rod cover, etc. Don't know how much I can get away with reusing, dont want any leaks but I only have 15k on the bike.

Original stock lifters, I have about the same milage. Replaced the bearings and any gaskets and orings I came across. The cam install kit from fuelmoto is very complete...

I'll tell you in about a week, I bought the Wood lifters from FM and I am putting them in with the TW6-6 cams. Reason I am changing is 2 fold...1) I have 22K on the existing ones and I believe that is enough wear to change out, and 2) more importantly I have a lifter that is bleeding down and takes a few miles before it quiets down.
