Took about 5 minutes to install, only tool needed was a side cutter to cut off extra zip ties. I could not get the accelerator pump software to install, kept saying "no power" but the 9 volt was pluged in and the light was on.
Anyone know why? Do you have to install that while its on the bike with the ignition on or something?
So you installed the PCIII with the stock factory mufflers and air cleaner?
Yes, maps are on Power Commander website. It made a huge differance in power and torque, I can't comment on the heat issue but it's been cool here.[sm=smiley20.gif]
did you install the accerator pump software in your computer? if not that may be why it worked. i installed the pump in mine set at the suggested common numbers for street riding and it works great.

I'll try to install it again tonight, I wanted to go for a test ride.
The place I saw the most improvement was over 2,000-3,000 rpm, before the PC it felt like I was hurting the bike when I was in that area of rpms. Now it's just begging to run.
You can't have the Power Commander software open when you run the accelerator pump utility. It is a seperate program and only one can communicate at a time. Connect your laptop and install battery onto unit or turn ignition on and run the accel/pump utility.
