Leather Jacket Advice
I have the souless, which I believe is in the same family of the 3 in 1 jacket. Pretty happy with it, only minor issue is the armor inside moves around, it's not retained well enough. The mesh lining is a little loose. I believe they are available in tall sizes as well, if you need it for sleeve length. The leather is really stiff, waiting it to break in a little more so it doesn't feel so unnatural.
I'd buy it again.
The Roadway is significantly lighter weight if I remember right from trying them on in the store. Nice jacket, but I wanted heavier for protection just to be safe. The sizing also doesn't seem consistent across jacket lines either, a 2x in one feels like a 3x in another, and vice versa.

I have had alot of leathers in 40 yrs. of riding Paid alot, and a little on different occasions. The best I have found to date are Fox Creek Leathers, they are great, American made, with a life time guarantee.
They are about the same price of the chinese harley davidson leathers, with NO guarantee. I consider it the best money I EVER spent on leathers

+1 on the FXRG. I shopped around a TON and narrowed it down to Fox Creek and the FXRG. I chose the FXRG because I could try it on at the store. It is a quality jacket and versatile.
Well, after many exhausting hours of traveling to stores and trying on jackets, I finally came home with my new leather jacket today. I had ordered the Roadway and, while waiting on it to come in, I tried on the Luminator 360 and ended up loving it. I negotiated with the saleslady at the store and got 20% off. It is a pretty heavy jacket and it fit me really well and has armor in the shoulders and elbows. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a two way zipper like the Roadway did, but it was a small sacrifice. I know that a lot of people will claim that HD jackets are overpriced or poor quality. While I'm no leather expert, they felt like very well made, high quality jackets. I'm sure that there are better jackets out there, but I was unwilling to order a jacket without trying it on first.
On a side note, I have to say that Adamec Harley really did right by me. Long story short, they ordered my jacket last week because the one in the store had some thread coming unraveled. When my jacket didn't show up in time because of all the storms they actually loaned me the one in the store so that I could go on a ride that I had been planning for a couple of weeks. When I brought it back I found out that it was on backorder and they had the Luminator brought over from another store for me to try on, and the rest is history.

I just received my Harley Leather jacket from Happarel earlier this week...Do NOT buy from Happarel if you want an authentic Harley Davidson jacket! I bought the 2nd most popular on their list, the reflective Willie G. Skull jacket for $309+ 20 for shipping....It's a "nice" jacket, looks real, labels and all...But when I went to the Harley shop and compared it to a real jacket the differences were obvious...It's a cheaper, softer leather, good for wearing around town and the reflective material wasn't as reflective...the quality wasn't quite as good, but decent....But it's obviously a knock-off...I e-mailed the company and of course got no response....Like I said, it's a pretty nice jacket if you want to save some $$$ and you don't really care if it's a "real" jacket....It would fool most people, it looks almost identical to the real ones...I think I'll put it on Craigslist because I went ahead and bought the other jacket at my local Harley shop...I'll take $275 shipping if anyone is interested
I have one from Wilson's Leather of all places. Not very flashy about 8 years old. But very warm with zip out liner. Problem is I think it is shrinking just like how my wife shrinks all my other clothes. Lol. BTW I love your avatar man room for for one more going to Aspen. Great movie.
