I looked a their website, and there's a couple of jackets and vests that look pretty interesting. For 350 bucks, a traditional biker jacket in 2mm naked leather is a great deal. I'm thinking about saving a couple of bucks and ordering one to check it out. Fox Creek gets about 475 bucks for a similar jacket (in my size) and with thinner leather (1.4-1.6 mm).

They've also got a single rider jacket, also in the 5 oz leather for the same price. If the jackets are good quality, it's a great deal.

Vanson (which I love, I've got 4) uses very heavy leather in their jackets, but they're typically 600 to 800 bucks, depending on style.
No problem on the post. Like I said before, they will custom make one for you if you want as well and very reasonable. They go to alot of rallies in the area as well, Pa, Wv, ect. Check out their stuff.

I have one of their jackets. A friend bought it at a rally in Ruidoso NM. It went through a crash when he had it and one after I bought it from him. Both pretty serious crashes. No road rash at all on me. I still wear it. They are American made though they do have some foreign made one too.

Stay Safe

+1...the best, Dress for the fall...not the ride. If you dont want to spend that kind of money, go textile....very safe, and very flexble...Half the cost of leather.

I went to the local HD dealer today and tried on jackets for about an hour. I really liked the 3 in 1 with the built in hoodie, but I couldn't find one to fit me well. The XL was great in the torso, but the sleeves were too short. The sleeves were great on the XXL, but the torso was too baggy. Another down point was the fact that it didn't have any ventilation. I then looked at the Roadway jacket. I was originally turned off by the orange in it, since I was focused on getting a "cool" all black jacket. However, after trying it on, I really liked the fit of the XXL. It didn't have any of the fit problems of the 3 in 1, it fit perfectly all the way around, and I actually think it looks pretty good on me. Also, it has several venitlation points. I have some HD gift cards and as long as I can talk the accessories ladies into giving me 20% off (done it once before) then I'll only be out of pocket for around $130.00.

Anyone out there have any experience with the Roadway?

I have an fxrg also and the leather seemsa bit soft and thin. I mean can you see that jacket saving your skin in a long slide?? The armor of course is good but it seemsto me the best riding leather is a heavy thick SOB! Seems to me like the best jacket is very thick but with great ventilation options.

Default Great Leathers

I have had alot of leathers in 40 yrs. of riding Paid alot, and a little on different occasions. The best I have found to date are Fox Creek Leathers, they are great, American made, with a life time guarantee.
They are about the same price of the chinese harley davidson leathers, with NO guarantee. I consider it the best money I EVER spent on leathers
Search online for Fox Creek Leather.

I've been looking at the Roadway jacket online, haven't tried one on yet. It comes in a distressed brown (without the orange trim)
also. Some eBay dealers have them @ $299.

They're located in Long Island City (NYC) and as far as I know are still there.

After looking at some of the "high end" stuff on some of these sites mentioned, I'm thinking "they don't make 'em like they used to"! From the pics on their sites it didn't look like anyone uses brass anymore (or maybe my eyes are worse than I think).
Legendary uses brass YKK zippers in their jackets.

Stay away from plastic zippers. Metal zippers are a must. Any leather needs cleaning but conditioner is very important.
