I owned one for about 2 days. It's "ok". The 12" WindVest is much better... I'm 5'8" with a 29" inseam.

Same here... There's really not much surface area to it. No doubt it will be better than the stock shield BUT a 6.5 inch Clearview with recurve is better still...SG results but probably still applies to RG...
Eyebrow and toenail are two new terms to me regarding the stock windshield. Eyebrow I can kind of see but where did toenail come from?
the stock shield just looks like a toenail clipping to me.... it doesn't even cover the radio housing.

it's hard to really tell for sure because of the difference in size and the curvature of the windsplitter, but i think it was changed slightly. seems like the windsplitter is angled back towards the rider, more in line with the fairing. you can sorta compare between the pic attached and my sig pic and see what i mean....
