Carl is probably the most knowledgable radio/speaker /part #'s guy on the sight. The info that consumes his brain on wiring harnesses, pin-outs, model year accessories, etc, etc,etc,...........is endless.

J&M 7.25s are really good, I bought a set when they first came out, had them replace my Hawgwired speakers, cost less, but have more sound. I still have the Hawgwired amp, if I ever decide to replace it I will probably go with an ARC, or I may try J&M.

Thanks for all the info. I guess no one has installed that setup I had at the start of this thread. I didnt know if that amp was decent or ........Im leaning towards the Hertz.....I do have MB quartz from my truck that would fit ....always a thought there ....

As for why I named the thread speakers.....well hmmmmmmm....Seems like all Obama hasnt taken away was freedom of speech and thought....atleast not yet

It seems like no one is running that set up. I would question their amp. I am changing my J&M 7.25 over to the Hertz in the next few weeks. I do run an Arc amp which I can tell you is great. Maybe you should consider the Arc with the Hertz for a few dollars more.

I agree I think I will go with the arc. So where can I get the best price.....
