Talked wih Steve he is a hell of a nice guy. Explained all I needed to know. Found out I wasted money on stage 1 download. Plus saved money on a fuel processor said I don't need it. Can't wait to get them and see how they work.
Let me know how it works out. Read a lot about them the last few days. Would like to avoid a power commander this time around and looking for budget ways to get the bike where it should be. For now mine is show room floor stock and will be for the majority of the spring/summer unless I find an awesome deal on slip ons. Would like to eliminate the football cover and open the air cleaner up as well but all in due time.
You'll like them. I know I can feel the difference in heat. Even on a 90° day my ultra now feels like the heat that use to come off some of my bikes from 30 years ago. Before it would cook you sitting at a light. Never goes into the rear cylinder shut down mode, seems to have a little more power as I can run 6th gear on a flat road at 55 mph where before I couldn't run under 62 with it feeling like I was lugging the engine. I saw no loss in fuel mileage. The stock exhaust did sound a little deeper. Makes no sense to me to spend the extra money for a controller and then have to remove the O2 sensors. Nothing to break down and even if the resistors burned out you can go back to stock in 10 minutes even on the road. I've put 4500 miles on since installation.

Hope they work for you...I followed a similar route only to find out that I spent needless dollars and time on band-aids when I could have had a real fuel tuning system from day one.
Yes, some really sing the praises of these "AFR only" products only to later learn they didn't work quite as advertised. Kind of like eating apples picked up out of the dirt...they're pretty good and that's all ya' need until you try one ripe from the tree.
