Even if they are successful at stealing your bike, you can just pull out your iPhone and track their asses down. Although you might want to be taking some back up.

EDIT after looking at the rlink app on the iPhone I guess you have to activate recovery and depend on the police to recover your bike. I thought it had continuose live tracking via GPS, but now I think it does not.

I just lock the forks, the only thing that might slow someone down is chaining it to something but that's too much of pain.
