Default 2011 seat on a 2009?

I am looking at picking up my first Ultra, a 2009. Does anyone know if the new Harley ultra seats from 2011 fit given the change in width, height, etc?

It will fit fine.
I have the 2011 SG seat on my 2009 and love it.
And I tried a few seats.

yes, they'll interchange just fine. both bikes use the same frame and gas tank, so it's no problem at all.

This is what I'd like to do on my 2009 RKC. How dramatic is the difference?

Do you know if they use different bars on the 2011 RKC's vs. the 2009's?

Thanks

I was looking around for a reduced reach seat and found out from reading on the forum that the new "LOW" Ultra seats (the letters "LOW" are molded into the bottom of the seat pan) put you about 1" lower and 1" closer to the bars. I don't know about the exact measurements, but it sure made a big difference in the control-ability and stability of my bike (or maybe just me) during parking and slow maneuvering. I think the seat I bought came off a 2010 Ultra and fit my '09 just fine.

to the OP, just make sure the seat you are looking at is different.

my Pal's 2011 Limited has the exact same seat as my 2009 EG Classic.

same part number.
