Default Rush 2:1 Performance Full System

Curious if anyone has tried the Rush 2:1 Performance Full Exhaust System on a tourer yet? I just bought the 2011 Ultra Limited so now I'm trying to figure out what to do. I seen the recent thread where someone actually removed thier cat but I think I'd rather replace my stock headers and not chop up and brand new system and ruin the warranty.

http://www.rushracingproducts.com/bl...ullsystem.html

I've used Rush on my past two bikes but only did the slip ons. Now with the cat issue, I'm going to replace the headers too. I loved the sound and performance on my other rides but I want to do this right.

I'm also leaning towards the DandD Boss BigCat 2:1 with stage 1 and TTS. I know the exhaust threads lately are extensive, I've read them all. Being perfectly honest, I feel like a kid in a candy store and really am confused.

All advice if welcomed.

Thats a good looking pipe! I put the D&D on my 09 and also have the TTS. I have to say im not completely sold on the sound of it. The performance is great but the sound just doesnt do it for me. I have always run Thunderheader so the D&D is a change that Im trying to get used to. Good luck and have fun. I always love starting out fresh with a new bike. Just a thought, If I were to start over now I may look at the Revolution Performance Precision EMS tuner. No dyno needed and have heard great things plus I could make changes and not have to re-dyno. Again, have fun..;-)

Yeah, I went to the shop today and listened to another guys bike that had the D&D 2:1. He was running a 110ci with SE255 cams and didn't have the quiet baffle so it was loud to say the least. I have the 103ci and plan to get the SE255 cams soon if not when I do the exhaust, I'm not so sure the quiet baffle would tone it down enough to make a different. My wife and take long trips often and I dont want to wear ear plugs everywhere. Plus, I do care about my neighbors. Hard to believe no one put the Rush full system on.

Thanks, ride safe but hard!

Rush makes it for Dragos but he has his own muffler/baffle design. Talked to him and he had a guy who designs rockets help him with it.
I'm pretty sure there was a Dyno on here somewhere from Valley Racing that had the Dragos pipe outperforming the D&D.

There is no secert RUSH makes my custom exhaust for me. I never hid that. And very proud of it!!!! Just like others who make exhaust systems here they have others build them for them. They do look very close alike but they are different in design in many ways.
I design my pipes RUSH makes them for me to my specs....
My Dragos S/C/S 2: 1 Will handle 75 to 180 plus with jus a baffle change. Baffle choice 2.05-2.28-2.55-3.00 ceramic coat inside out 2mls thich each side=4mls
02 bungs std for lamda and Narrow / wide band std. chrome or black same price.

My new Dragula 3 step 2:1 header there is nothing like this one in the world,...In exhaust design I promise that........ I put my name on this it will out perform any of the big big boys exhaust systems out there. std 120 hp to 280 and my other baffle will support 140 to 340 hp plus. And I am working on another one. that will bigger and badder than than this one for drag bikes

Thanks guys,
Any questions just call me........

Drago, I wasnt implying that you were doing something wrong or were hiding anything. I Just looked at the two pipes and noticed that they look similer. What baffle do you recomend for a S&S 106 with 551 cam? Would it be a different baffle for a stock 96"?. Is it a deeper sounding pipe then the D&D?

Fuel Moto has a 2-1 coming out and unlike most everyone else, they back up their products with data.....multiple times.
