I have an intermittent cranking problem. Sometimes the bike will not crank & I have to "cycle" the off/run switch to get the starter to engage. When the starter doesn't engage the alarm lights are flashing. Could it be something to do with the keyfob?

Any input from you guys/gals?

 

Have you tried changing the battery in the fob?

 

Didn't know there was one. Does it need to be reprogrammed?

 

Just pop the back off the fob and you will see the battery. Change it out and give it a shot. You can either grab one from the dealer or get one at Radio Shack or the like.
