Pack it in between the couch and the mattresses, leave it in gear, close the door and say a prayer.

I suppose a wedge nailed to the floor on each end of a tire wouldn't hurt.

Who me? Sarcastic?

Seriously, if you think it through,.... you will find a way to fasten that bike in a trailer without killing too much space for your other belongings. It's been done before.

Got a Condor pitstop trailer stop. I sure like it and using Softstraps on the bike and good tie down buckles. with the ends ducktaped up so they don't come loose.
Usually use 6 buckles.

That looks like the one I looked at a few years ago, they had a full dresser on it tipped on the side. I would do a test ride with it but putting on some straps might be good insurance & peace of mind.

OK guys. here is a update. When I recieved the devise I was astounded by the quality and build of the system. I have not included photos as I noticed a patend pending stamp. I may take distant photos if requested but nothing upclose of the double lock cam on the device. I did install it so that it would overlap on the cross braces of the trailer for added stability.

So far 4500 miles done and this thing is awsome! I have encountered hard high speed corrections, high speed turns, endured big bumps that about caught air, and the bike is rock solid. The placement in my trailer does not accomodate use of the tie downs so the straps are out of the question. I am about to enter Canaduh after this last family/friend visit in WA and have absolutley no question that the bike will arrive in perfect condition.

Anyone looking for a easy to use quick install devise this Roberts strapless tie down system is the best motorcycle transportation device for even the most sceptical of the group.

Agree, and made my own "condor like" wheel chock. Have had the trailer up on one wheel and the bike never moved. Check the straps every time you stop for fuel and save your money for something you really need.

Wheel Dock works great and when the dock is not on the trailer you can use it in your garage floor.

That is one hell of a DITY move at 6,000 miles. Where are you going to Alaska?

Strap it down also...You will have a piece of mind that you did if you are going to ask about it. You will feel better.

When I was getting ready to buy the strapless sys, I did a Lot of checking - I talked to a Custom HD person in the Freson, CA area - He told me he had several bikes to transport to shows every so often - he liked the idea and bought two and like you said, added straps just to be safe - after several trips, the straps were found NOT to be needed - he then bought several other units and can then load the trailer all by him self in just a short time and NO straps at all - Yes, the straps don't hurt but IF you were to use the sys - you would soon find out, NOT needed.... and just take more time. Straps can and do loosen but this sys is tight.
