Default Tour Pak Lights

Bought a 2010 FLHTC last fall. Have been thinking of putting on the Ultra light kit but you had to cut into the Tour Pak. Now I see there is a LCD light kit that mounts on the surface and you only have to drill holes. Anybody put this on? I like the looks in the picture, LCD might be better.

Just added the incandescent lights (I don't care for the LED one's) to my king tour pak this winter. Cutting the TP wasn't all that bad. I'll update this post with a pic in a little while (need to go take one). Feel free to PM me with questions if you like.

Dave

Edit: Here's a couple pics of mine. First one is a before pic. I really like the look & added texture on the back of the Classic pak. Good luck with your decision!

PS: Pay no attention to the messy garage, cleaning cuts waaayy too much into riding time! LOL!

Fat Tire did an LED wrap around light bar:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/elect...light-kit.html

Before purchasing the LED accessory tour pak light bar, price out the OEM light bar used on the '11 CVO EG and RG Ultras. The current (-11 p/n) LED accessory light bar has fatter side moldings to allow it to cover the rear corner cut-outs on Ultra tour paks; or, find the previous version (-10 p/n IIRC) of the LED light bar which did not have the fatter sides and, consequently, didn't wrap around far enough to cover the cut out holes when the Ultra incandescent light bar was removed. The "thinner" version looks better IMO.

lights are good, but have you considered the space lost inside the tourpak?

The T/P side marker light kit is good, and the "air wing" tourpak rack takes a LED kit for run and stop which is a pretty tidy set up.

There isn't any lost space with the LCD, it mounts only on the outside surface. I would like to see one installed to see if it looks as good as the Ultra lights.
