Huh, I live on a dirt road so I wash my bike....a lot! I spray water from a hose on everything including my inner fairing. Obviously, I don't hold the stream full force on the speakers and gauges, but I do spray as I would any other part of the bike. I've never had any trouble with the speakers or gauges. At least not yet?
I never use a pressure washer on any bike. They have to much force and force water in places it should not be. I just use a normal hose and spray lightly on the dash areas. That way it is no different than being in the rain

I learned to use a damp microfiber cloth made from 70 % polyester and 30% polyamide. This type of cloth is used by local body shops and removes dust without scratching the paint so we don't need to use polish to recover the gloss. For insects I spray a bit of water with an empty "Windex" dispenser and rub gently. There is no need for soap or detergent of any kind.
