Just completed fitting the newly painted bags and fender but the prolem is that I have a narrow pathway to back the bike out of. Has anyone done a wrap around cover to protect the sides of the bags hitting thigs like brick walls etc?
No not rails as I have 3" extended bags and have removed the the rails. What I need is a foam type of wrap to go round the bag and once I have got the bike away from possible damage areas, I can remove them and ride off!

I'd go to Home Depot and buy a bigger garage .... but that's just me!
Go to a craft and fabric store. They have sheets of foam there. Fab up your own by custom cutting pieces and duct tape them to form your box. Might also get a large needle and 1/8 inch poly string and sew them into the shape you need.
