Default Bag protection

Just completed fitting the newly painted bags and fender but the prolem is that I have a narrow pathway to back the bike out of. Has anyone done a wrap around cover to protect the sides of the bags hitting thigs like brick walls etc?

No not rails as I have 3" extended bags and have removed the the rails. What I need is a foam type of wrap to go round the bag and once I have got the bike away from possible damage areas, I can remove them and ride off!
Just a tempary

Once you take the pads off, where are you going to put them. Sounds like you just have to exercise caution.

Wrap a coat or blanket/comforter around each until out of the narrow passage(s)...
Simple solutions are sometimes the hardest to come by!

Or... Spray the brick wall(s) with foam seam filler.

I'd go to Home Depot and buy a bigger garage .... but that's just me!

Go to a craft and fabric store. They have sheets of foam there. Fab up your own by custom cutting pieces and duct tape them to form your box. Might also get a large needle and 1/8 inch poly string and sew them into the shape you need.
