Default tire question

have a 2011 FLTRX Road Glide, I've always ran Avon Venoms and love them, was going to order a set of Avon Cobras for the glide but my front is a 130/70b18 , the Cobra only comes in a radial in this size, the rear is a 180/65b16 which they have, talked to Cobra and they said you cannot run a radial in the front and a bias in the rear that I should use the 130/70b18 Venom up front and the Cobra in the rear that these 2 tread patterns work well together , what would you do, thinking of just leaving the stock tires on them (Dunlop 407/408)

Not sure about the sizes, but check out the Dunlop Elite 3's from motorcycle-superstore.com

Elite 3's are for 08 and earlier. It's American Elite for 09 and later. I'd try the ones you have on the bike for awhile. You might decide you like them. Most are getting good mileage and they perform well. I've got almost 12K on my 2010 RK and they look about half worn out. JMO
