Part number needed
I tried this on another web site and none of the answers were what I was looking for.
I only want the Harley part number I am looking for.
If you can not supply the specific part number DO NOT reply.
If you know the answer that is just great, but if you don't know the specific part numbers I'm looking for, then you're not helping.
But anyway here it goes again.
I need a part number that is NOT listed in my 2003 Harley Factory Touring Parts Manual.
In the chrome passing lamp shell is the 12V gray wire that connects to one side of the sealed beam bulb.
I included a pictuire of it.
It has a 1/4" female spade connector on the end with a black plastic insulating sleeve.
What is the part nuimber for that 1/4" female spade conector??
It is NOT a common type connector by any means.
It is uniquely designed to snap into that plastic sleeve.
And if you find that, you might as well tell me the part number for the black plastic sleeve.

well I dont know the part number because there probably isnt one.. But I needed the same kind of connector for a hummer .. take the wire to the dealer and say hey I need this connector and the guy if is in a good mood will tell ya to give him a minute and go in the back and get one for you.. Thats what they did at the chevy dealer for me.. If they dont have it try the chevy dealer try to match something up.. If that dosnt work go to the junk yard and those conectors are usually in a shifter electrical connector in the center console

According to this site http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....=13&A=288&B=40 it should be 73191-96. It is number 21 in the blow up photo, if I am reading your description correctly.

NO NO NO.
Those part numbers are NOT for the end that connects to the sealed beam light.
Those part numbers are dfor the opposite end that plugs into the motorcycle wring harness, not THE SEALED BEAM BULB.

I'm thinking (not 100% certain) the terminal with the insulator is pn# 72290-94. The connector is sold with the insulating sleeve under that pn#.
