front brakes locked up

Hi I saw this thread pop up in my email, What happend Im not sure if I ever said was I had my bike and my buddy had is ultra took the caps off on the handle bar resivors he had a hole in his resivoir I didnt we drilled a small hole in the spot of the casting on my bike but the rebuild kit in it flushed it filled up and has been working for 2 years! it should have 2 holes mine olny had on! Sorry about the spelling!

FYI people this happened to me after spending 5 days in the hospital and 3months off work I started checking the bike over to see what caused this the calipers were definitely in bad shape two of the pistons where frozen and could not get them out so replaced both calipers an the brakes still locked up rebuilt the master cylinder still locked up replaced brake lines still having the same problem well the only thing left replace the master cylinder as I was looking on line for a MC I came across something I had bought recently and put on the bike just before the Laughlin run witch I had road there and back with them on the bike a pair of custom brake and clutch levers the ones with the little skulls on the ends cool huh NOT! These $13 parts almost killed me after spending about 4 bills on a complete brake system for the front I figured out it had to be that so I pulled off the brake lever and rode the bike the problem was solved what it was comparing the stock lever to the aftermarket one there is a 16th of inch difference of where the pin hole is causing pressure against the plunger no play in the brack lever be wear hope this helps NO MORE CHEAP ****!
