Did you maintain the stock OEM Rubber ? What was the Inside Dia ?

Looks like the shaft is thicker towards the outer primary ??

It's also pretty simple to remove the heel shifter and cut the splined shaft short enough to remount the toe lever only. Clean it up with a file and a little polishing and it looks factory. When (or if) you ever want the heel option back, the splined shaft only costs about $12. No funky looking caps or spacers and your shifter won't be too far outboard (and in the way).

I tried moving my toe shifter to the end of the shaft and found that it got in the way. I like it on the backside of the shaft with the heel shifter or a cover on the outside.

Since I moved my footboards out with a spacer kit, I wanted my lever out so the spacer behind it works best for me. You can somewhat see it here. I used a piece of anodized aluminum tubing that I stole from one of my mothers old windchimes.
