if i go with the 2.5 rush slip ons for my 2011 flhx do i need a pcm flash? sorry if this has been asked i did some searching to no avail.
If you have stock unmodified headpipes, you can install the 2.25 or 2.50 baffle with no tuning required. This is assuming the rest of the engine is stock. Once you get a highflow intake, still no tuning required. This info is for bikes with stock headpipes with a catalytic converter, such as 2011 touring. Please let me know if you would like more info.
thanks,
Ryan
I took off the stock pipes on my 2010 FLSTCU and put on Rush slash down mufflers with the 2.5" baffles. LOVE IT!
No tuning required. The sound is just what I was looking for. They say I should have gotten about 5 hp in the deal. If the heat this summer is not too much on the engine I will leave well enough alone.
If not can still use the mufflers and change the baffles to 1/75"

Hi, I am not doubting you but can you show some afr graphs to back this up?
also on your true dual set up for the 2011 touring (7017) do they have both 12mm and 18mm bungs for the O2 senors? thanks

So you can do slip ons "and" an air intake and still not have to touch the ECM?

I do not have any graphs and we generally do not provide them due to all the variables with tuning. However, I can assure you that with a high flow a/c and our largest baffle it will still be able to calibrate back to stock settings. This only applies to touring bikes with a stock engine and head pipes containing the catalytic convertor. If you would like an in depth explanation, please call in and speak with one of our techs. They are your best source for detailed information or for unique setups.
