Question about take-offs

Question about take-offs
I've replaced the wheels on my 2009 Ultra. The OEM 28 spoke wheels were too difficult to clean and are intact but tarnished.
Friends have suggested I could sell them but I'm not sure.
I've rec'd no response on HDF and E-bay seems to have a bunch still trying to get more than $25 per wheel.
Platers and powder coaters don't want them.
Should I scrap them for lunch money?
Try to give them away?
Keep them in case I need them some day? (I can use them for snow tires LOL.)
They're in the way and I can imagine having them years from now and then scrapping them anyway. Any ideas?

take offs - everybodys got them! usually mufflers, grips, floorboards, seats
either keep or sell cheap on your local craigslist.
best market is for someone who broke his wheel in a crash.
if you have room, then stash them--- ( I have the original tires and wheels from my '53 stored)

I like the suggestion to put them back on if I decide to sell the bike.
I've done that with other bikes/parts in the past with good results.
Bike price is unchanged but you have things to put on the next bike or sell seperately.
Wheels are just obnoxious to store and It's possible I'd store them forever.
I know they're a dime a dozen but it hurts to think of getting $1 a pound for scrap.
