Today is a day I had hoped would take forever to get here but I made the decision to sell my '07 Ultra. My last 2 daughters are headed to college and I'm pleased to be able to assist in their expenses, albeit at the result of selling my love.
I will not forget the memories I've acquired, friends I've made and met, and hopefully I'll return soon to my passion of riding a Harley.
To all, farewell, and I hope to see ya'll in the wind again..............sooner than later!
HERE is a link to my photobucket acct. to remind those of all the time, work, and compassion I put into my scoot.
Bummer! Well there will always be another bike! At least you have the means to help your family, good for you! I've enjoyed your posts, take care and hope to see ya again
Hey, get them through college, and when they get that 100K salary, have them chip in and pay you back.....in chrome !
Just because you don't have a bike for a while doesn't mean you can't stick around. The wealth of knowlege here in this ever changing avocation is worth keeping up with.
I took a hiatus for about 15 years to start a business. Came back about 10 years ago........just like I never left. The girls are by far more important. It will be a well rewarded trade off.
Darren, I've always enjoyed your contributions here and hope you will continue to share your knowledge and enthusiasm even if you will be without a bike for awhile. A bike compared to your daughters' educations is a no brainer for good dads--glad to see you're one of the good ones.
