Default Wrap Around TP Lighting Question

I just installed the HD Wrap around lighting on my detachable color matched TourPak and mount it to my 2010 Streetglide. My question/issue is...where do I make the lighting connection? None of the plugs on the bike seem to match the plug from the TourPak lighting.

I've attached 3 pics of what I'm dealing with:
1) Connector on bike behind left side plate
2) Connector from TourPak Lighting
3) Y connector included in the lighting kit

Thanks in advance!
TONY

Default tourpak lighting

I put the LED lighting on my tourpak when I had my '08 RoadGlide. When I traded I kept my tourpak, cause I only buy black scooters<G>. I mounted it on my new one, but none of the plugs matched up. I had to get a new connector and rewire it. I asked the dealer and they agreed that it would not fit the existing connectors.

Look for the plug and wires (under the seat) that go through the rear fender to the lower tail lights. The "Y" connector goes into each end of that and the Tourpak light harness also plugs in there. It's pretty much plug and play.

I Put a lighted tour pack on my Road King and had to use an adapter harness to make the lights work. The adaptor looks the same as the one you have pictured.

Under the seat there is a connector plug that feeds the rear lighting. if you follow the wiring from the hole in the fender forward you will find the connecter. Unplug the connecter and plug the adapter in between the male and female connector.

Now you have to get from that connector to the tour pack.

Harley makes another adaptor PN 70113-08 about $14.00 that connects inside the tour pack. This give you a pig tail that hangs outside the tour pack for you to connect to and it should match the plug on the adaptor.

Now all the left is to connect the two, the problem is there about three feet apart.

There are two way to do this, you can cut the plug off the adapter and extend the wires, This is what I did. Or you can go to HD Dealer and get all the parts to make up an extension harnes to go between the two.

Here a picture of my harness after modification

I guess I'll bring it to the dealer...so much for "plug & play".
