I just bought a 2011 Roadglide Ultra FLTRU. Upon riding the first time I noticed wobbling in front end upon deceleration from 44 and 36 mph.
HD dealer tried fall away neck bearing tension, rear swing end tension, front wheel runout to no avail. Any suggestions?
It's not only RG's that do it. I've had two Ultra's, an 09 and a 10 and they both do it around 37 mph if your grip is light on the bars. The 09 the dealer adjusted the fall away and it was fine. The 10 was adjusted and it still does it. The dealer told me its normal for a bagged to wobble! If I would have known that I would have kept my 09!
First and foremost, welcome to HD Forums!
May I suggest reading up on the use of the lemon law in your area. If a dealer here cannot fix it after two tries, then a mediated factory mechanic has to have an opportunity to fix it. all this before you can make a claim. But, you do stand a chance of loosing your lemon law ability if you let them work on the same issue more than what the letter of that law reads in your state, of which we know not where that is. Thanks for sharing!

I thought this was a problem of the past when we had poor quality front suspensions!
The unstable condition would occur when the center of gravity (of the rider) moved forward while the front suspension was still "relaxed" at speeds of 40 and 70 mph (70 & 110 Km/H). Wheel balancing was the most common cure plus the addition of a damper / friction device on the fall away bearings when they were not of "Timken" (tapered) design.
In the late 60's a friend of mine fell off his bike just after a short 100 mph sprint. This happened at 70 mph when the air pressure on his jacket allowed him to lean forward to a more comfortable position. We had no speed limits here at the time
My 07 did it right after delivery, had to take it back 2x to get it right. Been 29k now with no issues, as stated the neck bearing more likely has to be adjusted, and every bike Ive had that wobbled that was the solution. My .02, the dealer set up is the pits they give it to some low tech person to set it up and get it out the door, they dont spend any amount of time on something anymore let alone quality time.
