go for it!

9 out of 10 you will do a better job then them anyways

did my first cam this winter (259) and it was easy easy fun fun

I took my time then now i can change a cam like mcgiver.

I wouldnt dout the dealer would also pull a switch and bate scam on you...ooh yuor case needed clearing and we needed extra shop wrags or something...register shock.

after all my research ,and after doing it.the only thing I would add is get good lifters.

LOL yep they are all cut from the same cloth. They do more for the DIY movement than anything else I think.

Your absolutely right about the dealers attitudes and pricing pushing the DYI movement. I hate to pay someone to do something I can do myself. Keep us informed on the install, and take some pics! Love the bike, but I'm partial....

I would like to encourage you to keep us all updated on your progress. I just installed a set of Wood 555's and am ready to pull the SE adjustable pushrods outa the box. I also have the Ness A/C ....V&H true duals with Rinehart slipons and Thundermax ...It'll be a while til I'm on the road (-25 C today) but I look forward to hearing your final impressions.
